WWE never claimed to be all about wrestling.
AEW and its fan base have lamented since the beginning that it’s sports oriented and a product for wrestling fans.
You can’t say one thing and do another. They did a whole storyline mocking sports entertainment.
WWE is allowed to have wrestling.
AEW is allowed to have sports entertainment.
Pro wrestling shouldn’t have to be 100% serious.

People are acting like WWE let Randy Orton go.
Ilia is great in the ring but needs to work on the rest. To be at the top level, you have to have character and charisma. He's a talented guy, if he can get the character and promos down, then he can be a real player. But I wasn't seeing that when he was with WWE.
They didn’t let him walk.
They tried to keep him.
He wanted more money than they felt he was worth.
