Did you know that all four of the Democrat candidates at the top of your ballot voted against a constitutional ban on a state income tax? The previous system enabled changing to an income tax state very easy by a simple majority vote - this constitutional amendment made it almost impossible requiring a 2/3 vote. While Democrats worked to take more of your hard-earned money, Republicans fought to keep it in your pocket. And Texans voted in a non-partisan way to pass that income tax ban by over 74%!

That is not a policy speech. That is a guy who still likes this country saying what a lot of fans were already thinking. Supporters called it pure football energy. Critics called it cringe, political, even a swipe at immigration. Same crowd that spent years telling us sports and politics belong together suddenly wants the military flyover kept quiet.
