Well hells bells ive cracked 1000 followers somehow. I should point out - those that follow me land in one of two general groups-- Vtubers, & Alberta Independence.
Insofar as Alberta: yes I am a Yukoner, but I spent a decade of my professional career in Alberta, got my Red Seal out of Alberta. When I first went, I wasnt enthused - i had the whole British Columbia & Ontario mentality of 'redneck hicks etc'.
I learned better by being there.
Fact is, Alberta & its dealings & issues have a *much* more direct effect on Yukon than Ottawa, even when our entire funding comes from Ottawa--- after its bilked from Alberta. Our original lifeline, the Alaska highway, starts a practical stones throw from thier border. (Yukon wouldn't exist without the USA but thats its own topic). Moreover, how canada has behaved towards Alberta with thw separation issue?
SHAMEFUL AND EMBARRASSING.
Truly, the behavior of the feds, MSM, & the general Canadian population has been utterly *DISGRACEFUL*.
No attempt at remediation, no attempt at 'reconciliation', not even trying to communicate in an earnest manner -- rather, the reaction has, & continues to be, "how dare you try to leave me bitch!" That whole 'abused girlfriend' meme, absolutely applies.
So, I want Alberta to have its vote. Settle it, see how it pans out. Quebec tried twice. If Canada cannot handle that? Then canada deserves to go tits up. Especially with how corrupt Ottawa has become. Voting federally aint fixin shit.
So. Thats half ish of my followers, how bout the whole VTuber thing?
Lemme explain that for the non-vtuber type:
Vtubers, virtual tubers, are people, usually women, that adopt an anime figure, they generally dont reveal thier IRL identity, & cover whatever they want. You have the 'corpo' vtubers - vtubers that work for an agency for a character usually owned by said agency, often modeled after Japan/Korea's idol cutures, covering most non-political stuff, usually gaming. Good example is Pipkin Pippa of the company PhaseConnect.
You then have the indie, or Independent Vtubers. They own thier character, they decide thier content, they may do sponsorships & the like but in general are the Independent contractors of the vtuber world. Some go heavy into politics. Excellent example is Kirsche Verstahl - who, BTW, is the one responsible, ultimately, for uncovering & airing the entire DEI/BRIDGE cancer eating society. But I digress.
So, two separate worlds right?
Not near as much as you might think.
Kirsche, her followers, & a growing subset of vtubers are actively trying to stand up against not just DEI, but the implosion of the USA (Mainly) from the general fuckery of the world. Kirsche, & many more, actively try to encourage thier fans to not 'blackpill', not give in to the insanity of the world, rather to stand up & push back.
As for me?
Sure, I live in both worlds at once - cause it's all on one mudball- & I recognize there needs to be more outreach. We've all felt isolated, alone - we aren't. Not near so much as those fuckin us want.
If they were winning, the propaganda wouldn't be necessary.
