Temps today could be the warmest in almost two weeks with highs hovering around 70. We stay close to 70 through Thursday then see another round of cool air return this weekend.

We've had 12 straight days in the 60s for highs making it our 13th day in the 60s for highs this month. We did have some warmer days at the beginning of September when we were in the 80s and even one day in the 90s.

It's a cool start to the new work week waking up to temps mostly in the 40s with a few areas around 50. We do warm fast today with afternoon highs in the upper 60s to around 70 with a mostly sunny sky.

Now that the AM sprinkles are done the clouds should clear the rest of the day. Could get some late PM sun which would be good for the Brewers game. Grab the jacket or sweatshirt with temps getting chilly in the 50s during the game. Might be just a scosh chilly for an open roof.

We are heading into the first weekend of fall and the weather looks good! We will have to watch some showers in western WI to see how far east they make it but right now it looks pretty dry and a partly cloudy sky both days with highs in the upper 60s.

Our fall growing season continues to get longer and longer by an average of 17 days over the last 50+ years. That means a longer season for fall allergies, including ragweed which impacts over 50 million people across the country. Ragweed pollen is still being picked up in WI.

Gus is our featured pet of the day! You can just imagine the loud meowing coming from that kitty during the Packers game last night... After some morning tears of Packers fans, we see the clouds clearing for the afternoon with highs in the 60s. Put your pet photos in the comments

If your travels take you north this weekend keep an eye out for some fall color. A few counties up north are reporting 25% peak color already.

Both this year and last year have been very wet with both seeing over 30" of precipitation by the end of September. We are 3" above average on precipitation for the year right now.

5:10 AM Radar: We are watching a few sprinkles out there this morning. Don't be surprised if you see some raindrops through the morning commute but don't expect a lot of rain.

Great start in the weather department for the Packers home opener tonight against the Falcons! Beautiful fall weather for tailgating then temps fall into the upper 50s by the end of the game. Go Pack Go!

We are in the middle of a long stretch of highs in the 60s and those 60s have overtaken the 70s for the greatest number of highs during the month of September. Don't forget those few warm days at the beginning of the month too!

After another soggy week we are no longer seeing any dry conditions at all in the southern half of the state. Unfortunately, it's not the same story up north. Parts of northern Wisconsin are now in "exceptional" drought - the worst category. They desperately need rain up there.

Some isolated showers are possible tonight with some sprinkles lingering into Friday. Accumulation looks very light, if anything.

Could see a few isolated showers or sprinkles tonight into Friday, especially morning. Rain chances are still overall low and a lot of us should stay dry.

September has been a rainy month! We've only see nine totally dry days during the month and recently we had six straight days with at least a trace of rainfall including the nearly inch and a half we got last Saturday in Milwaukee.
