Mate you have misrepresented my thoughts with your statement saying Im arrogant after I had just given the Kenyan industry props, secondly Im the only South African artist that actively stayed in Kenya for a month looking and recording two songs with a Kenyan artist.
This is an unfair analysis and I still maintain the only way life works is if you work hard then people see you, you don’t demand recognition, no artist is entitled to recognition, its the consumer that decides if they like you or not!
Kenya is a beautiful place and its people, my statement is clear, people will collaborate with you either when they like your product or they see growth in the collaboration. Im not speaking out of my ass, I speak as someone who has done the ground work in Kenya artistically, I even got a chance to learn your language and its roots with the song called “Umenitosha”.
