My overall take. Based on the film and what I know about Addisen as a 5'8" 2028 combo guard, l see a player with a legitimate D1 college basketball path, and I think she has more upside than her current recruiting attention necessarily reflects. The biggest thing I noticed is that she isn't just a "good high-school scorer." She has several traits that translate to college basketball, three-level scoring ability, ability to play on both sides of the ball, competitiveness, and the ability to make plays rather than simply wait for shots. She competes defensively! This stood out to me. She's willing to defend and block shots. That's something coaches notice. A guard who can consistently defend the opposing team's 1-4 becomes much easier for a coach to put on the floor. My biggest takeaway from the film is this. I don't think Addisen needs to become a completely different player.
