Demand is the only thing that can drive the price of a token up. Burning doesn't, Staking doesn't, Locking supply up still wouldn't. Even buy backs only work when demand is there. Burning reduces supply. Staking reduces liquid supply. Lockups reduce potential selling for a moment. But if nobody wants to buy the asset, scarcity alone means nothing. Ultimately the price of a token only rises when the buy pressure (demand) exceeds the sell pressure (supply) at any given price.
