Let me open your eyes with simple arithmetic.
7,598,220 is the number of votes obtained by Obi/Kwankwaso in the 2023 election. Atiku had 6,984,520. The difference is 613,700 votes. When rounded to three significant figures, the number is 614,000, cif-cif.
Let us assume Tinubu will lose half of his votes, meaning:
8,794,726 ÷ 2 = 4,397,363.
If this half is shared equally between Malam Obi and Atiku, each will have an additional 2,198,681.5 votes.
Now:
Atiku:
6,984,520 + 2,198,681.5 = 9,183,201.5
Obi/Kwankwaso:
7,598,220 + 2,198,681.5 = 9,796,901.5
9,796,901.5 − 9,183,201.5 = 613,700.
613,700, when rounded to three significant figures, is 614,000, cif-cif.
This number is what is giving Atikutooters headache. They desperately want it, but they cannot loot it.
The 73% online votes that go to Atiku will be less than 23% compared with the massive offline votes that will go to Obi/Kwankwaso in 2027. So don't panic.
My question is: How will Tinubu risk his vulnerable 8 million votes to Obi/Kwankwaso, with 7 million votes, only to sabotage Atiku, with 6 million votes?
Are you mathematically OK?
That's why, whenever I hear some Atikulated individuals spreading this flimsy propaganda that the Obi/Kwankwaso ticket is working for Tinubu with the aim of sabotaging Atiku's votes, I only chuckle, shake my head in awe, and ignore them.
How could someone imagine such an impossibility?
Nigeria is full of political prostitutes: among them are academicians, religious clerics, traditional leaders, judges, activists, entertainers, and even governors. But history is a mirror for personal inventory.
Look at these two individuals sitting beside each other.
One is prudent and the other is frugal.
One is disciplined and the other is gentle.
Both are no-nonsense, nonsmoking, non-philandering teetotallers, and, more importantly, Obi alone is a proven anti-corruption crusader.
This is the most fantastic political collaboration in the entire Nigerian political history. Bet me.
If you are Obidiently and mathematically OK, write “I’m OK 👌” in the comments section.
