As part of ongoing efforts to address stormwater drainage concerns, KLDA ,in partnership with NEMA and Nairobi City County, conducted site visits to Marula Lane, Karen Plains, and Hardy to highlight urgent interventions needed to mitigate flooding risks. Following these engagements, the County is expected to deploy equipment to open up drainage channels, with the identified areas also captured in the County’s Environmental Disaster Management Plan.
