Park City Municipal is replacing two aging pedestrian and bicycle bridges along the McLeod Creek Path, one near the Park Avenue Post Office and one near Fire Station 31 and Creekside Bike Park.
Beginning as early as September 23, the pathway at one or both bridge locations is anticipated to close for construction. A signed detour on either end of the project area will be in place during the closure. Find a map of the detour route via the link in our bio.
Bridge installation is scheduled for mid-November, with the goal of reopening the path and bridges for winter use in December. Crews may complete final pathway tie-ins, paving, restoration, and any remaining work may continue or be completed in spring 2027, with temporary closures as needed.
Weather, site conditions, bridge delivery, and other construction-related factors could change the schedule.
