What an incredible day at DBat Cheshire’s inaugural Northeast College Exposure Camp at Panthorn Park! A huge thank you to the 11 college programs that invested their time and expertise in our athletes: Hofstra, Keene State, Wesleyan, UMass Lowell, CCSU, Springfield, Lasell, Regis, University of New Haven, Colby-Sawyer, and Albertus Magnus. Throughout the day, players received outstanding instruction directly from college coaches in hitting, baserunning, defense, pitching, and catching before wrapping up with a competitive 10-inning scrimmage that gave everyone multiple opportunities to showcase their skills in front of college recruiters. A special thank you to Panthorn Park, Jim Sarantides, Pete Cowen and our CT Lightning crew, Jeff Graziano/Christina Carabetta, our umpires Al Rosenberg and Mike Blouin Sarah Miller and the entire DBat Cheshire staff for completing the players’ metrics testing, and all of the college coaches who made this event possible. Most importantly, thank you to every player who came ready to compete. You embraced the challenge, battled through the hot and humid conditions, and represented yourselves with tremendous effort and enthusiasm. We’re proud to have helped connect so many talented student-athletes with college coaches, and we can’t wait to continue growing this event in the years to come. Have a fantastic rest of the summer, and best of luck to everyone as recruiting continues!

DBat’s College Exposure Camp will take place on Wed., Aug. 5th and will include 11 schools: Hofstra, UMass-Lowell, New Haven, Central CT State University, Springfield, Wesleyan, Lasell, Keene State, Colby-Sawyer, Albertus Magnus and Regis. The last day to sign up is 7/20 before the registration price increases.
