Fox interviews a guy who claims he went to heaven for 18 days. He can report that Jesus is not only male but about 5’11 or 6 feet tall and really masculine. “Talk about testosterone. Like a mustang.” It’s over for the Talarico campaign.

Jacoby Brissett is 2-14 RN as a starter in Arizona and 21-44 over 11 seasons in the NFL. Cardinals have misvalued the starting QB, the top-5 WR pick, possibly the top-5 RB pick in context of value, several edge rushers and DL who have gotten hurt. Results go on Monti's plate.
Joshua Dobbs has a better record as Cardinals starting QB than Jacoby Brissett. Whether this staff is here or not, if the Cardinals try to sell health + Brissett from Day 1 next year, hope nobody buys it as a sign for optimism.

My thought is that the only reason they kept him as the general manager is to avoid giving the new general manager this yearns awful record. Otherwise, they should have cleaned the house last year. It’s wild they kept the GM and SC buuuut gives them an excuse to tank for a QB

How I kind of think of it: Most moves they make can make sense in a vacuum. But together, many decisions seem incoherent next to one another.

I’ve watched some bad football this weekend. Jokic cares about our mental health.
Jok is ALREADY doin' this kind of stuff...

Very important: When you have the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL draft, be sure to use it on a RB you won't even play at the goal-line.

Classic Jacoby Brissett game. Almost does enough to make you think he is decent, gets four chances to win it. Receivers got bullied too.

Kind of the point of Jeremiyah Love being a reach and why it is risky even if he’s good was that he is getting tripped up if he takes contact behind the line (not his fault) and Arvell Reese has had a big play in ending three possessions for the Cardinals.

Thought at the time that Arvell Reese was the right pick - still think that, but Jeremiah Love can be great with the threat of explosive plays. They need to get it working in the passing game with him.

I would feel better if they, like, used him.

Mind you, the open field tackle was on the Cardinals RB that is NOT Love, which means Love was sitting on the sideline.

Ah are the Giants using Arvell Reese well?

It would appear this business is ...
New from me: Crumbl was once the country's fastest growing restaurant chain in the U.S., a $1 billion brand in just six years and the largest cookie concept in the country. At one point its unit volumes were $1.8 million, a ridiculous sum for a cookie concept. But it has been struggling over the past two years, which worsened this summer with a dirty soda introduction that only served to generate controversy. The company's "Dirty Soda Week" was the worst in its history, and August sales were down 70% over the past two years. Stores are now closing. More could close but the company isn't allowing more closures without the possibility of liquidated damages. We spoke with numerous franchisees for this story and analyzed documents and correspondence and watched a presentation from the company's CEO. Operators describe a chaotic operation that sometimes leaves them scrambling for supplies while sales bounce from one week to the next. The business is also unusually punitive, with the company monitoring cameras inside the stores for violations such as more than one person walking into the store on a Sunday. The company did not respond to requests for comment, but it is making management changes, a new CEO is close to being hired, and the chain plans to reduce its reliance on new cookies. Sales did improve some in September, particularly with Minecraft week (honestly, I'm surprised more chains don't do Minecraft promotions). But it's been a tough road for one of the restaurant industry's biggest pandemic winners. More here: restaurantbusinessonline.com…

A phenomenal moment in the Senate. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo., claims he has evidence Jack Smith went to a HAWKS game in Atlanta. Smith denies it. Schmitt declares he has busted Jack Smith for perjury. Smith, vexed, says he went to HAWKEYES game in Maryland. Watch the whole thing:
