I wish this kind of effort would be put into banning bots, gold sellers and gold buyers.
There has been thousands of them on every single classic / anniversary server since the launch of them. They are even infesting the freaking forever beta.
One single person on the job could literally get them all banned in less than a few days and not make it profitable for them to make new accounts.
I tried reporting a bot this morning and the function for it wasn't even available in the beta.
Anyone saying they were removed from beta for naming their character “Billy Mcsuckmahballz” is telling little white lies. That character likely just received a forced name change.
Multiple unfortunate humans read through every name that was removed from beta today.
If you’re genuinely confused, remember that it’s our database, we can see every character you’ve created, not just the one you’re playing.
I read the list. No sympathy. Be a better human next time.

In my defense, I wasn't just 'farming gold' cause you can't compete with bots on that field.
I offered a Service, which many others have offered through time and still do to this day.
Like I've said in the past, I have no way to prove that tweet and its consequences is what led to Blizzard disabling gift purchasing from Venezuelan accounts, but at the very least it prolly was one of the reasons.

Venezuela Foreign Minister Nicolás Maduro is detained for 90 minutes at John F. Kennedy International Airport for secondary screening.
Maduro was travelling home after attending this week's UN General Assembly meeting. The U.S. state department has apologised for the incident.
Maduro rejected the apology, claiming that his detention was a breach of international law and that he was verbally abused and strip-searched in what he described as a "flagrant breach of international law".
Venezuela made a formal complaint to the U.S. authorities, with President Hugo Chavez describing Maduro's detention as a provocation.
