1928. The last time BC Conservatives formed government. 1935. The last time Quebec Conservatives won seats. They now hold 19. Conservatives are set to govern 7 of Canada's 10 provinces. It's a remarkable provincial political map, and quite the contrast with Ottawa.

Some lessons from the election: - X isn’t real life - Marc Nixon’s campaigning for OneBC was politically irrelevant - Online influencers have less of an impact on voters than they would like to believe

Shut the fuck up, and fix their Starlink.
What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

There is something deeply wrong with a political system that allows one trillionaire to buy his own personal U.S. Senator.

Incredible scoop by my @WSJ colleagues: Elon Musk ordered the slowdown of a military-grade version of Starlink relied on by Ukraine, a decision that sparked panic in Kyiv and confusion inside the Trump administration. wsj.com/world/ukraine-starli…

Hey so you're a liar
Replying to @FedorovMykhailo
Starshield systems are owned and controlled by the US government. Any limits on speed or usage are decided by the US military and ultimately POTUS. Starlink is a commercial service owned and controlled by SpaceX. Usage of Starlink is limited to civilian or defensive activities and cannot be used for offensive military action, as doing so would be inappropriate for a commercial company.

Saying nobody wanted it ten years ago is false. Take the L and get something to drink. You'll be fine
The amount of people gloating that only 24% of Albertans want a separation referendum when nobody wanted one 10 years ago is quite something.

Those RTs and ❤️ on X counted for nothing
My understanding is the separatists expected a much, much higher percentage of the vote. Apparently, though, BOTs can’t vote.🤷‍♂️

If I were Denmark or Greenland, I would be worried. As you can see, an agreement with Trump is worth about as much as a cheque from a bankrupt casino. It looks official right up until the moment you try to cash it.

El- Sayed: "Here‘s the thing about it – no matter who you are, how you love, how you pray, how you identify, where you are from, it just should not be this hard. Should not be this hard to afford a second bag of groceries. Should not be this hard to fill up your tank. Should not be this hard to afford a home. Not be this hard to see a doctor. Should not be this hard to pay your taxes and know that that money will be spent on you and your kids rather than dropping a bomb on somebody else and their kids. Should not be this hard. Shouldn‘t be this hard to keep our money here. Spend it on roads and bridges here, build our schools here, provide healthcare here. Shouldn‘t be this hard. Shouldn‘t be this hard."
