Congrats on shipping. That "ran it again and could see the improvement" loop is the whole game. We scanned ~280 DTC storefronts on Google page 1 and found 65% got zero AI answers on buyer questions - missing third-party corroboration was usually the real fix, not the copy.

I'd forgotten what the beginning feels like. The part where every tiny bit of encouragement matters an unreasonable amount. I put Oomira.com properly into the world this week. Type in your URL we tell you what ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini say about you. So far, the numbers are tiny. A few hundred companies run. A handful of strangers paid. I am reacting to each with the emotional restraint of someone whose child has just been admitted to Harvard. One person paid $29 and said she'd have been happy with one useful insight. She found at least four. Another changed her website based on the report, ran it again, and could see the improvement. Someone at a very large company told me their gigantic internal attempt to rethink SEO for AI is “missing the point that this highlights so beautifully.” I have considered framing all three. Meanwhile, one company got the wrong name, one had literally no competitors (needed comparables! I know that now), and several people couldn't figure out how to buy. Each gave me a small heart attack. Each made Oomira better. I can assure you the next person will get an entirely different bug. Try yours: oomira.com If it's useful, tell me. If it's wrong, definitely tell me. I am not above admitting I would like the validation.

What’s your company’s agent NPS? We built a free test to find out at oomira.com/?ref=x0819. Put in any company URL and Oomira asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity about it cold, with live web search. See what they say about you, what they actually read, and whether they recommend you. Then run your biggest competitor.

I've raised $256M building the future of manufacturing. Need $23M more in 86 85 days to reach profitability. Instead of secretive pitch meetings, I'm opening up the war room to the internet. Grab a seat → linkedin.com/posts/katherine…

Need a little self-love and clarity? Let ChatGPT play therapist: 1.Ask it: ‘Write a love letter to me from myself in 10 years.’ 2.Then: ‘Write a love letter from me today to my 18-year-old self.’ You’ll laugh, cry, and maybe cringe—10/10. Try it and thank me later.

'We only invest in software' 'We don't do consumer products' 'We don't fund capex' Funny thing: While VCs obsess over pure software plays, we're building the manufacturing OS of the future. Sometimes the biggest opportunities are in the 'no' pile. 🎯 open.substack.com/pub/kathom…

TIL from @guyraz & @herocosmetics: Korea requires brands to disclose manufacturers on packaging. In North America? ‘Competing' brands could come from the same factory and you'd never know. Make it mandatory on packaging AND websites. Watch how fast 'Made in 🇺🇸 🇨🇦' becomes a flex

$23M sounds like a lot of money, until you're scaling hard tech. I lay out all the numbers here: linkedin.com/posts/katherine…

Yesterday, I shared one of the most vulnerable posts of my career—about the very real 90-day countdown we’re in to make or break at Sheertex. Today, I’m on the cover of Forbes. If that isn’t the most startup thing ever, I don’t know what is.

Someone just pointed out I’ve tied the fate of our unbreakable tights to checks notes... the entire Western world? Huh, I do like that marketing. 😂 Well, first off, we’re not just a tights business (but that’s a thread for another day). But they might actually have a point... 🧵

So yeah, maybe tights do matter. Not because they’re tights, but because they’re proof you can build something lasting, grow the pie, and keep value here—where it belongs.

Borrow what isn't defensible, but build what lasts. Because whether it’s manufacturing, tech, supply chains, or something else entirely, economies thrive when businesses create lasting value—and anchor it locally.
