At the moment, I have products worth about ₦500,000,000 in stock, with a significant portion being Itel Power Tanks. Since this post by Enori (@Brattyenori13) went viral, I have experienced a noticeable decline in sales. Some customers and potential buyers, particularly my major wholesalers and retailers, have been expressing serious concerns about the durability and safety of Itel Power Tanks. Some orders have also been cancelled because of the concerns generated by the post. I understand that consumers have every right to raise concerns about products they use, but when a post reaches millions of people and creates widespread doubts about a brand, it can have serious consequences for businesses and distributors who have invested heavily in that brand. @itelNigeria, I’m appealing to you to urgently address this issue publicly with clear, factual information about what happened and the safety of your Power Tank products. If necessary, please also have your legal team review the post and take whatever appropriate legal or regulatory steps may be justified after investigating the matter. I honestly cannot imagine having ₦500,000,000 worth of capital tied down because customers have lost confidence in a product based on a viral post. We need clarity from Itel.
