31-year-old Jose Hernandez De Leon was arrested in connection with the fatal hit-an-run that killed 23-year-old Seth Rains in July.
Rains was a recent Texas Tech grad whow as walking back to his hotel with friends after a concert.
De Leon has been charged with Collision Involving Death and can face up to 20 years in prison.

23-year-old gang member, Travion Williams, has pleaded guilty to the 2023 carjacking that took place that December.
Williams, while masked, approached two people who were walking to their 2020 Corvette on Elm Street.
During the carjacking he brandished a Glock 19 pistol and took the victims belongings before leaving with their vehicle.
He was able to evade police before ultimately being taken into custody.
Williams has been identified as a member of the Four Deuce Oakland Crips.

28-year-old Anthony Robinson and 31-year-old Shyheim Muhammed have been arrested in connection with a June shooting at a gas station that killed Nigel Calhoun and injured another person.
Authorities believe the shooting may have been a retaliatory attack and are actively seeking a third suspect, 31-year-old Christopher Johnson, who is still at large.

He has an immigration detainer hold with a $100,000 bond.

Six people were hospitalized from a shooting in Southeast Oak Cliff on the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive.
One of the victims, Zariea Brown, died at the hospital from injuries sustained from the shooting.
No suspects have been located and are currently on the loose.

Dallas Police Officer Ronald Maillet Jr. is facing charges for illegally sharing body camera video.
He turned himself into the Dallas County Sheriff's Office. He is on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.

Dallas driver Kayla Lorenz is upset with the Dallas PD's lack of response after she was involved in a hit-an-run accident in early September at the intersection of S M Wright Freeway and Al Lipscomb Way.
Lorenz's car was hit by a white Mercedes SUV from behind and caused the Mercedes' bumper to detach.
The Mercedes drove away and Lorenz called 911 right after but no DPD officers were dispatched since she wasn't injured and her airbags did not deploy.
Hopefully the owner of the Mercedes is found before they strike again. Literally.

63-year-old David Michael Klepak is facing life in federal prison for abducting, sexually assaulting, drugging and threatening to kill a 14-year-old girl.
Klepak targeted the girl who was walking around trying to find her way home when he offered her ride. Instead of taking her home, he took her to his house where the abuse occurred.
The victim managed to escape and was found by her family a few days later. Hopefully this monster is found guilty and put away forever.
