MISSOURIANS - confused about congressional districts & ballots? If nothing changes by 5pm cst Sept 28th, the 2025 Map which was used for the Primary will be used for November. As it stands now, November ballots were printed based on the 2022 map. Switch to 2025 map impact on votes already cast: The already-cast House votes would not match the district that actually appears on the November ballot. Election authorities would have to issue replacement ballots for the House contest (and possibly void the House portion of ballots already returned). Other races on the same ballot (statewide, local, Prop A) would typically still count. Clerks would have to send corrected ballots to anyone who has not yet returned one, and decide what to do with ballots already voted. The Eighth Circuit did not spell out a county-by-county cure plan. If you already voted absentee and you live in a county that does not change districts (much of rural Missouri, St. Louis City’s 1st, etc.), your House vote is likely fine either way. If you live in the Kansas City metro or another split county (Jackson, Clay, and about 28 counties total were flagged earlier), your House vote may have to be recast if the 2025 map is forced into use. *** Overseas/military ballots are already printed and mailed: That deadline was September 19. County clerks in Kansas City, Jackson, Clay, Boone and elsewhere confirmed they sent UOCAVA ballots on the 2022 lines. Federal UOCAVA law still requires those voters to have a ballot 45 days out. If the map changes, clerks would have to send corrected ballots to anyone who has not yet returned one, and decide what to do with ballots already voted. ❓ Did you know? This morning the Senate Legal Counsel requested immunity for Fauci's assistant in order for her to testify. A vote was take by the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs held a business meeting (Chairman @SenRandPaul with @berniemoreno speaking for We the People). Vote 8 yays (all Rs) to 7 nays (all Ds). AND!! The Democrats REFUSED TO SHOW UP again! (The Ranking Member did sit in on the witness' closed door deposition.) Except for the Ranking Chairman, all democrats voted by NO BY PROXY. PS Her disposition was already taken in a closed door meeting.
