A nose stands in for a person, a familiar gesture loses its counterpart, and a line shifts between human, animal and abstraction. Rather than asking what a body is, the exhibition considers how it becomes recognizable in the first place—and what happens when perception, language and expectation no longer agree. In 2023 my partners and I closed the SP2 gallery. It was a tough decision. Thru a series of random events, we were able to reopen it this summer and allowed a few people to put on some exhibitions. This one opens Friday and I am pretty chuffed about the line-up. Come thru!

I didn't realize the extent of Germany's meth problem. I just sat with a (former bar customer) prosecutor, on the bus, and what I learned on that 30 min ride is genuinely mindblowing. Not that "oh that sandwich blew my mind" kind, but genuinely 💥. Wow. I'm in the studio now.
