In this target trial emulation study, we looked at whether stopping long-term antipsychotic treatment is safe for older adults living with dementia.

A very nice study by @BoheeLEE4 and @chloebloom using multiple study designs (self-controlled case series & cohort analysis) showed consistent results: metformin lowered asthma attack risk by ~30%, with GLP-1RA adding 40%. A robust approach to observational data!
