Today, driving home, I called 911 to report a fire near the Fairfax exit off the 10 Freeway that appeared to involve a homeless area. It’s the SECOND fire I’ve reported in just two weeks.
@MayorOfLA: Where is the plan to address the 16,982 homeless- or encampment-related fires every year in Los Angeles?
This isn’t just a homelessness issue—it’s a serious PUBLIC SAFETY issue. Residents, firefighters, businesses, and property are being put at risk. We need action, accountability, and a real prevention strategy—not silence.

Downtown LA office buildings are over 40% vacant. Class A office buildings in the downtown Toronto financial district are 90% full. Don’t blame COVID or back-to-work rules for Downtown LA’s decline. Blame our elected officials. They drive through Downtown LA every day to get to City Hall and see the crime, blight, and encampments. A tough environment to work in. Are they blind or incompetent?

The street vendors pay no taxes, have no permits to operate, & no health inspections on the food. They are hurting small restaurants & this needs to be stopped.
🚨 LA has 50,000 street vendors. Only 687 have permits!
Small businesses pay tax, rent and insurance, while vendors camp out and STEAL their customers.
Sacramento Democrats legalized this madness in 2018. I’ll BAN it.
