Our friend & partner, Larry Meyers has passed away. I met him in 1970 when I was a young professor & he was a student at Texas Tech. We became life long friends. He was one of the best persons I’ve ever met. He was one of the best government relations people to ever serve in DC. Our thoughts & prayers are with his wife Kris & family. Kent Hance

My good friend Tom Luce has died. He was a true Patriot and a great Texan. He did so much for education in Texas. He had a great family. My thoughts and prayers are with them!

Dr. Bill Marcy has died. He was Provost at Texas Tech University. He helped build the University to 40,000 students. He also served as Dean of Engineering at Texas Tech. He worked many years for the CIA. I always had the utmost respect for Bill and his inquisitive mind!

U of Florida tried everything they could and TT Red Raiders run ruled and embarrassed them 16-7. The u of fla gator pitchers hit Mia Williams 5 times with pitches in 3 days and refused to shake hands with the Red Raiders. We are headed to OKC for the WCWS. We can win it all.

ITS NOT OVER UNTIL THE FAT LADY SINGS”. The rest is history. Texas Tech 74 A&M 72. That saying is used all over the world every day in all kinds of sporting events.

Ryder Harrington was murdered in Austin by a terrorist. Ryder was an outstanding young man. I’ve talked to several people who knew him and everyone had nothing but praise for him and his character. May he rest in peace! Pray for his family.
