Kernel nut and battery builder

I have never seen a sphinx in nature that does not match this head-to-body proportion.
No wonder they don't like aerial photos of the Sphinx. For a civilization with proportional art in all other statues and reliefs, the greatest of all statues in Egypt is grossly disproportionate between head and body.

The FIDE handbook explicitly allows this with a live audience larger than 100 people. Most people don't know this because they have never seen a match with such a large audience.
If the future of chess is one where it’s acceptable behaviour to toss opponent’s pieces into the crowd, im not sure I want anything to do with it.

False. Nearly all battery systems have active cooling with fans that get clogged with spiders and dust. Additionally, cells age and have manufacturing defects, electrolytic capacitors fail before 20 years, and lightning is hard to defend against. x.com/pbrody/status/17000003…

I don't get it. Taiwan makes more semiconductors than it consumes, Saudi Arabia makes more oil than it consumes, and Detroit makes more cars than it consumes. Specialization and surplus production is economics 101.
😳🤩🤯China is building battery plants far beyond levels needed to meet domestic demand for electric cars and grid energy storage, underlining vast state subsidies and unchecked bank lending. Production capacity at China’s battery factories is expected to reach 1,500 gigawatt hours this year — enough for 22mn EVs — more than twice demand levels, forecast at 636GWh. @CRUGROUP

The x.com logo reminds me of the x.org logo. But, I think the inevitable conglomerate that colonizes planets, builds robots, and develops AI needs to be called Weyland Corp, not Wayland.
