I genuinely don't understand how someone can have "writer/editor" in their bio and still fail to grasp why Toby would be hesitant to localize a game that is insanely dependent on wordplay, tone, and cultural nuance into a language and culture he isn't familiar with.

What people don't seem to grasp is that the Hades II designs feel like what someone thinks men find attractive, rather than what actually appeals to them. It's the inverse of a man designing a male character to appeal to women.
Today's "Safe Horny" discourse surrounding Castlevania & Hades is bizarre. Hades 2 is one of the horniest games of the last decade. Characters wear blatantly revealing outfits. No one wears shoes. There's multiple romances. You see naked women and think man?
Seek help.

They resent the truth. You go through all that work just to get to the same rehashed story beats over and over, it's just corporatized fanfiction. Manga crushes. New stories. New ideas. Simple as.
Every time I say this comic nerds get really mad at me but the reason manga took off so hard and American comics are dying is because a manga series starts at vol 1 and goes to vol 2 and then vol 3

My theory for Deltarune is that the Roaring Knight is what happens when a monster attempts to seal a Dark Fountain. Their Soul isn't as strong as a human's, so they're consumed by the darkness.
This would explain why Dess is lost in the code while, what I presume is her body runs around.
