I worked a banquet when Joe came back to Beaver Falls after the Super Bowl in 69. Don Maynard came with him and remember standing beside him. I couldn't believe how small he was and wondered how he took all those hits.

I don’t know why NBC and NFL Films have not tried to place the complete broadcast and the syndicated “NFL Game of the Week” highlights in the National Archives or Smithsonian Institution to preserve what a perfect NFL game is between two legendary quarterbacks.
