Donβt get me wrong, Harry Kane was never gonna win the Ballon dβOr in his Spurs days β he was competing with some of the best ever and, well, itβs Spurs.
However, make no mistake, he was every bit as good as he is now (playing against better teams every week, too).
We told you.
GET IN! We've never been as bad as some have made out, but I really didn't expect that at Stamford Bridge. With better, more prolific attackers, that could have been 4 or 5. But, to a man, fair play β we can't moan about that, given the result! Onwards... #EPL#CHETOT#THFC#COYS
Absolutely pleasantly surprised. Quite impressed, in fact. However, as we know all too well, no goals when on top often costs us later on. I'd go Porro for Gray and Solanke for Tel (Marmoush to the left) for more threat and productiveness on both sides... #EPL#CHETOT#THFC#COYS
I'd love us to break our Stamford Bridge curse, but I can't see it with this XI. Tel was dropped entirely for a reason. Gray shouldn't be there when Porro is remotely fit. Other than that, it's about as good as we can put out. Just hope we surprise me... #EPL#CHETOT#THFC#COYS
A game I dread. Hoping for a miracle, though.
If both Udogie (out) and Maddison (available, but fragile) donβt start this one, we need to offload them both in January. We simply canβt afford to keep carrying so many part-timers.
Iβll look forward to seeing the teamβ¦ #COYS
Episode 3: "Reboot."
Using robots to reflect on humanity makes this... interesting. Lots of cans of worms opened in this one. The main villain's identity is obvious (and cool). Parts of this felt like WandaVision (not just because it's referenced), which was nice... #VisionQuest
Episode 4: "Malware."
Genuinely think this is starting to improve on WandaVision. It's as good as that, with an espionage thriller mixed in. I like how it highlights that pop culture helps us reflect on our identities. Villain is who I thought (still cool). Nice... #VisionQuest
Absolutely laughable that a player can have his arm out straight and static, and an opponent can literally run face-first through it, specifically bending it to reach the elbow via his own momentum, and softies can call it a foul because it's Spurs. Grow up.
Not great by any stretch of the imagination β and more injuries is all we need β but by God did we need that win and I'll take it as things stand. Build on it now. Hopefully it kick-starts our season... #EPL#TOTCOV#THFCΒ #COYS
Not bad. We'd look far better with a bit more urgency. Passive at times. However, Coventry or not, scoring and leading is a good habit to get into. I also feel safer with three at the back with our available players (though we are still frail at times)... #EPL#TOTCOV#THFC#COYS
Nice to see Kulusevski's name. Right-back is such a huge problem. What does Fernandes have to do to start? Gray?! Udogie injured again? There are always so many damn talking points with this club. Just win, for goodness sake... #EPL#TOTCOV#THFC#COYS
Tonight is the first game this season I'm actually EXPECTING to win β and so I should be! If we can't beat Coventry at home, the problems are even more huge than we realise. This HAS to be the kick-start our season needs. Somebody MUST find their goalscoring boots... #COYS
