Someone said that a conspiracy is unnecessary; if there is a shared worldview everything else follows naturally. If there is no God, then there is no right or wrong, only power. The State -or a supranational State- becomes the Supreme Being.
Never attribute to cynicism what can be explained by stupidity. It's a version of Hanlon's razor, and I think it's the most underrated key to understanding what's happening to the West. By stupidity I don't mean low IQ. Most of these people are brilliant. I mean a mind running software it never chose. The tempting story is a cabal. A small room of evil men who know exactly what they're doing and do it anyway. I don't buy it. Not because the elites are innocent. Because the truth is worse. Almost nobody thinks they're the villain. Almost everyone is convinced they're on the right side of history. The Brussels bureaucrat, the NGO director, the journalist, the central banker. None of them wakes up wanting to destroy anything. They wake up wanting to save the world. Real cynics exist. But they're rare. A handful of people who know the game is rigged, play it anyway, and laugh about it in private. Everyone else is a believer. And most of the puppets are believers precisely because they were formatted. The same schools, the same universities, the same newspapers, the same dinner parties, for decades. Nobody had to give them orders. The software was installed early and it runs on its own. What does that software teach above all? That progress has collateral damage. And that collateral damage is acceptable. That one idea unlocks everything. It's why they can look at illegal immigration and not see a problem. They see the stats. They see the neighborhoods. They see the victims. And they file it all under collateral damage. Regrettable, marginal, the price of being on the right side of history. A price, conveniently, always paid by someone else. Someone they'll never meet, in a neighborhood they'll never live in. That isn't cynicism. A cynic at least knows he's lying. This is faith. And faith is far more dangerous. You can negotiate with a cynic. He responds to incentives. A believer responds to his conscience, and his conscience was written by the system. Ray Dalio saw 2008 coming. He went to Washington and sat down with the Treasury and the White House. What terrified him wasn't uncovering a plot. It was realizing that nobody was really flying the plane. That's the real picture. Not a cockpit full of villains. An empty cockpit, and a cabin full of true believers convinced the autopilot is taking them somewhere good. Remember the hand on the dial? It isn't a monster. It's a believer who sincerely thinks the water is good for you. You can't shame a believer. You can't bribe him. You can only outbuild him.

Wow, this is what Yemen looked like in the 1960s under British rule. That was over half a century ago, but it looked decades more advanced than Yemen does today. It’s almost unbelievable compared to what the country has become. And it’s a testament to how quickly a country can collapse once Islam reigns supreme. x.com/Alkathiri220/status/21…

Also don't send people to die in unnecessary wars.
Wow. Alex is not displaying cowardice here. He is highlighting a broken social contract. You can’t spend years eroding the country — mass uncontrolled immigration, two-tier justice, prosecuting veterans, telling people they can’t have a national identity or fly their own flag — then demand young men go and die for it when the Defence Secretary suddenly notices the world is dangerous after spaffing our money on everything but defence. You can’t ask men who aren’t allowed to feel pride in their country to die under its flag. Give people a country worth defending again, or stop being surprised when they say no.

Whether it is Protestants or non-Christians, this dogged insistence on misrepresenting what Catholics believe looks like a lame substitute for making their own beliefs look credible. They are trying to convince themselves.
This is blatant ignorance + lack of knowledge + lack of understanding. In the Mass, the Gospel is read every time directly from scripture + the Apostles creed is cited which double downs on this. Every prayer a Catholic does is intended 4 God to hear & every Catholic beliefs God is the only one who can fulfill/grant it! Every Rosary is a reflection of Jesus Life & the Gospel & what it means first & foremost. Intercessory prayer is a Communative effort to please God. God loves care, community & togetherness of his people & thus makes the appeal better. If you ever asked anyone to pray for any cause with you - Intercessory prayer is the same exact thing. Learn first what these things mean & are - before you again only attack a caricature of our faith for Protestant social credit points.

Happy X-versary! Long may it disrupt authoritarianism.
Four years ago today, Elon Musk bought Twitter. Liberals lost their minds because they knew they were losing control of their ability to shape the narrative. Today, X is the #1 source of news in the world and it’s the legacy "news" media on life support.

Looks like Biden's win.
An estimated 80% of polling stations were closed when they extended the hours. 213 cities that voted Flávio in the 1st round, voted Lula in the 2nd. 10,282,707 more votes. Soros celebrates. Make of this information what you will.
3
When the Democrats rail against the influence of billionaires in politics, they mean Musk. The billionaires on their side are fine.
When the Soros heir celebrates an election, you can be sure there's more to the story. Let's look at who Alex Soros actually is. He chairs the Open Society Foundations, the largest private political-philanthropy machine on the planet. His father put over $32 billion into it. Over three decades it has handed out more than 50,000 grants, over $24 billion, to NGOs, activist groups, media outlets, legal networks and "civil society" organizations in scores of countries. Its annual budget is still well over a billion dollars. He also chairs Democracy PAC, the family's political war chest. This cycle alone it has poured more than $100 million into Democratic campaigns, making the Soros family the single largest individual donor of the 2026 midterms. Alex himself said he's "more political" than his father. Shortly after taking over, he was meeting with Schumer, Trudeau, and yes, Lula. So no, this isn't a random guy cheering for democracy. This is the man who funds the ecosystem, celebrating the result. Now look at what that ecosystem pushes. No one has bankrolled the open-borders movement like Open Society: migrant advocacy groups, legal challenges to every enforcement measure, NGOs lobbying for asylum without limits. In 2015 George Soros wrote, in plain words, that Europe should take in at least a million asylum seekers a year, for the foreseeable future. That's not a theory about them. That's their published program. And here's the core problem with the "open society." A society open to everything is closed to nothing, including the forces that will dissolve it. No borders, no shared culture, no common identity, no confidence in its own history. That isn't openness. It's a civilization being asked to stop defending itself. Popper's idea was a society open to criticism. What they built is a society forbidden from saying no. The West wasn't built by people who were ashamed of it. It was built by people who believed it was worth something: its law, its faith, its science, its freedom. Take that away and you don't get a global utopia. You get a vacuum. And vacuums get filled. That's the fight we're in. It isn't left versus right. It's whether the West still believes it has the right to exist. Win it, and we get a renaissance. Lose it, and the dark ages won't be a metaphor.

Who benefits? The loser who becomes the winner benefits.
🚨🇧🇷 A poll worker in Brazil says she was PROHIBITED from filming last night, after voting was extended... "Everything went normally, and the ballot boxes were closed at 5 PM. At 5:05 PM, the TRE coordinator announced news about Zanin's decision: the voting would be extended by another 2 hours! General chaos. No one knew what to do. Coordination's decision: NO ONE ENTERS, NO ONE LEAVES! I and one other voter from my section remained, who, having voted last and been witnesses to the closing of operations, just like in the 1st Round, were prevented from leaving Colégio Marista São José, in Barra da Tijuca. At one point, a meeting was called for all the polling officials and other voting participants, in the school's internal courtyard, to announce a decision on what would be done. My section colleague and I approached. I started recording on video. - Filming is Prohibited! Shouted the "authority" - What do you mean? Why can't I record a decision that affects the voting operations I participated in as a witness? I retorted. - Because I am prohibiting it. - I'm civilized and won't question this personal decision of yours, even though I disagree with it. But I'll listen and be a witness to whatever you communicate. It's my right, since I'm being prevented from leaving here. I replied. The stunned looks and disapproval from almost everyone were noteworthy. They're not used to questioning anyone without causing a commotion. They don't know what the word "citizenship" means. They feel ashamed and get intimidated in front of anyone who presents themselves as an authority. What can you do? THE DECISION: The sections would be reopened and, for another 2 hours, voters who arrive could cast their votes in a separate minutes, to be attached to the other documents of the section! Imagine the potential for irregularities. Even though the ballot boxes can't be reopened, "voters" could cast their votes separately. Who oversees that? Between this new decision and what was implemented at my polling station, there were at least 2 people who "voted" in this mode. We were finally released to leave the school. I don't know how many more voters managed to go vote. All this mess opens the door to questions and even possible annulment of the vote. Who benefits from such electoral insecurity?" That the Communist hammer and sickle isn’t commonly regarded as evil and offensive as the Nazi swastika is a failure of education.
“Dear Italian students, who today take to the streets carrying flags with the hammer and sickle and wearing T-shirts emblazoned with ‘CCCP’,” began an open letter in Italian by Lithuanian expat Neringa Budryt. “I would like to ask you a question: do you truly know what the symbols you carry represent? And do you know what would have happened to many of you had you openly demonstrated in countries living under the oppression of communist regimes? Let me tell you something. It is easy to display a red flag when, for you, communism is merely an abstract idea of equality, social justice, and rebellion against the system. It is easy to wear a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it when you have never experienced the reality of a communist regime. We come from that part of Europe where communism was not a T-shirt, a symbol of rebellion, or a romanticized notion of equality. It was the system in which we lived—a system we never chose. We know the history of Soviet repression, Stalinist purges, the Gulags, and mass deportations. Above all, we know the word "Siberia"—a place to which thousands of innocent people were forcibly deported, simply for thinking differently. In Siberia—amidst freezing cold, starvation, and forced labor—many lost their lives; those who survived carried the scars of that experience forever. Entire families were torn apart, and generations were denied the chance to live freely in their own homeland. In the countries of the Soviet bloc, censorship, political police, surveillance, and the suppression of dissent drastically curtailed individual freedoms. We grew up in a system where state control permeated even our daily lives. At school, we were required to wear the red necktie of the "Pioneers." We were monitored; they tracked where we went and even whether we attended church. Even faith—a choice that should belong to an individual’s own conscience—could become a cause for suspicion. We used to celebrate Christmas with our windows blacked out, to ensure no one would see us and report us. Because it was forbidden—just like so many other things: jeans, rock music, and all the symbols of a Western lifestyle. My mother returned from a Soviet labor camp. And do you know what happened to her? She was barred from continuing her education because she had been labeled an enemy of communism. Under a communist regime, you could not protest. You risked arrest, imprisonment, interrogation, persecution—and, in certain historical contexts, even death. In the Soviet Union and other communist regimes, political dissent could cost you your freedom and your life. Demonstrations independent of the authorities were not a guaranteed right; they were often suppressed by force. That is why it strikes me to see young Italians proudly displaying the hammer and sickle—symbols associated with regimes that persecuted and imprisoned millions of people. Today, you are free to take to the streets, shout against the government, criticize institutions, and wave your flags precisely because you live in a democracy that grants you these freedoms. Under an authoritarian regime of that kind, protesting against those in power could have landed you in prison. This is not about denying the existence of social injustices, inequalities, or the right to fight for a better world. You are free to take to the streets to demand a more just society—but you should not idealize a system that denied so many people the very things you are free to exercise today: the right to choose, to believe, to speak, and to dissent. Before wearing a T-shirt with "CCCP" on it, listen to those who experienced that world. Talk to the deportees and their descendants; read the accounts of those who endured the gulags and forced exile to Siberia. Learn what it meant to be stripped of your freedom, your home, your loved ones—and even any prospect of a normal life—simply because of your background or your beliefs. Before waving the hammer and sickle, please, study history thoroughly.”

“We are the fascists we have been waiting for!”
Robert Reich in 2025: Trump is a fascist dictator for even suggesting that a company be taken over by the government and for telling a CEO what to do. Robert Reich in 2026: SpaceX and Starlink must be taken over by the government. Small man, giant fraud.

Fascism or Communism.
So they want to jail Elon Musk and have the government steal his company and invention. If only there were a word for that.

Most Westerners don’t know that Arab Israelis exist, because their existence debunks Western media narratives.
Hey @SkyNews 👋 Arab Israeli here. Allow me to set the record straight: there are no “Palestinian citizens of Israel” and your attempt to erase our identity and belonging in this country is racist, inaccurate and offensive. Can you imagine saying “the Mexican citizens of the United States” simply because one is Latino? Less than 15% of Arab Israelis identify as Palestinian (and most polls have it closer to 7%). You don’t get to decide what our identity is.

Some people don't want the truth. They want their preexisting beliefs, loyalties and hatreds validated, even if it means being lied to.
Elon Musk: "If you repeat a lie… some people actually believe it… If someone believes CNN, then they would say, he must be a Nazi because they said it on TV."

It's not just college kids or Marxists. Lately I am seeing people expressing hatred of Christians in a way that is utterly incoherent, irrational and unreasoning and they don't even mind that.
i am coming to the conclusion that the reason that so many of these college students so rabidly hated charlie is not because of what he said when he was holding the mic but rather what he asked them to say when he handed the mic to them. there's a stunning incoherence to their views. so angry, so confident, so entitled, and so completely, utterly unable to explain why or what they even believe. never have so many known so little and yet felt so certain about so much. there is no capacity for critical thinking or discourse, not even a basic semantic grasp of the concepts. it's just an entitlement-flavored word salad spewed forth as some talismanic claim to deference and respect. the greatest vulnerability of the marxist midwiped is being asked to explain what they are talking about. ask what their magic words mean, why they use them, what they signify, how the problems and processes they posit work. ask how they would do things. ask what they are asking for. the results are amazing.

The social compact around human rights and toleration of differences has been dead for a while. The masks are off now.
It is a matter of historical fact that the two groups most prone to murdering or enslaving Christians are Communism and Islam. The Democrat Party is now under the control of a marriage of convenience between literal Communists and Islamic Jihadists. This unholy alliance is popularly referred to as the "Red/Green Alliance." If you are an American Christian, know this: the Red/Green Alliance wants you dead, or enslaved, or bankrupted, or persecuted so badly that you will not be allowed to live freely in American society. They hide behind the lies of benevolence of seemingly harmless masks like Talarico. Those masks will fall as soon as they achieve power. There should not be a single adult Christian staying home for the midterms. Christians must vote like their life depends on it, because it does.
