We tried something new with Dev Boost, and it led to a poor match experience and was hard for the global community to participate in. We want this to be a fun reward that anyone can earn, so Dev Boost is now a Free Tier 99 reward in the Season 24 Rocket Pass.
Dev Boost is no longer granted by winning with or against a developer.

It has been an amazing experience trying to get the new dev boost while grinding the game, haven’t played that many hours in years.
but the dev boost should 100% be available in the item shop, or at least be made available as a Twitch Drop on streamers’ channels.
It doesn’t look good when pros or content creators can get it easily through connections, while regular players are queuing for 6 hours straight and still don’t get the chance to obtain it. It should be accessible to everyone.
