Today, the Department of Justice Task Force to Combat Anti-Semitism announced the first stop of the American Tour Against Hate will be in Southfield, Michigan on Wednesday, October 14. The Tour is a first-of-its-kind federal initiative, bringing government resources and officials directly to local communities experiencing hate and discrimination.
“@POTUS Trump has made clear that this Administration will not tolerate antisemitism, and the Department of Justice is committed to implementing that directive,” said @AGToddBlanche. “This national tour is an important step in ensuring communities across the country know the federal government stands ready to work with them to confront antisemitic threats, protect public safety, and uphold civil rights.”

The white 🐴 in front of the Alamo looks like Emmett (Silverado), 1985 western, the rider on the pale horse. The movie’s name is the other half of the picture. Silverado is a made-up silver-boom town, a camp called after the metal. Set that name on the Alamo and it points at the old San Antonio silver story. San Sabá was a Spanish mission and fort on the San Sabá River, northwest of town, built in 1757 and burned in 1758. The lost silver, Los Almagres, was the mine said to be in those hills. Bowie rode out looking for it in 1831 and never proved it. He died at the Alamo in 1836 still meaning to go back. Later folks said the treasure came into the mission with him. The 🌈 on the street is the old sign for something bright at the end of it. Maybe it is pointing at that unfinished silver.
