Byron Scott claims LeBron James knew he was leaving the Lakers before the season even started
Byron Scott: "I think before the season even started, LeBron had in his mind that this was his last year in L.A. I think that plot was already in play a long time."
Olden Polynice: "Speaking personally, listen, my first game was against the Lakers. Trust me, I was like, 'Damn, I wish I was wearing that purple and gold' while I was with Seattle. And every year after that, I kept thinking, 'Man, I want to be a Laker.' I opted out of a contract out loud! Shoot, I want to be a Laker, damn it."
Byron Scott: "LeBron is very, very methodical in his thinking anyway. He already plans out what he wants to do next. He's a plotter. He's already plotting his playing and what he wants to do. In his mind, he was pretty much prepared that this was going to be it."
