It’s because the Egyptians embittered the lives of our ancestors in Egypt. Just like it says in the story:

out of Egypt and didn’t have a chance to stick
around waiting for the dough to rise.

Matzah
THIS matzah that we eat, what’s it all about?
It’s because the dough of our ancestors hadn’t
had enough time to rise, when suddenly the King
of the kings of kings, the Holy One Blessed Be He,
revealed Himself to them and liberated them.
THE Pesach is the Passover offering that our ancestors ate in the time when the Holy Temple was standing. What was that all about?

It was because Pesach means to skip over. And the One Who Encompasses Everything skipped over our ancestors’ houses in Egypt. When we were about to leave Egypt, Moses told us how to explain eating matzah on Passover to future generations. He said:
