Obviously this didn't happen but imo it would've been interesting if after Eddie thought he killed Peter, he had a reaction similar to what happened in 90s Hunger. Imagine him completely breaking down after the violence ends and he can't put up a montruous facade anymore

ASM 375 is the best Villain Venom issue and ironically it marks the ending of this era for him. Michelinie finally expands his world by introducing Ann and Carl as the two catalysts Eddie sought for approval and failed to meet. Brock is at his most hesitant once he realizes...

...that things can get better if he stops drowning in his own hate Eventually this compromise will lose itself. Eddie's hate towards Peter will wither; the bond will crumble; all because the idea of Venom is built on delusions of two beings who think they can't be better

Hilarious that this entire "Venom & Wolverine" story is completely centered on Wolverine and in 6 parts no one could explain why Venom was there. Mfs just felt like adding him 😭

I can suspect 3 things to come out of this 1. Eddie becomes Venom but his journey to that point is what will make him different 2. A fake out in which Anne becomes Venom to homage his alternate that could’ve been 3. Absolutely fucking nothing

TOMORROW my most awaited DC comic of the year is coming out!! Unfortunately I didn't read the Etrigan stuff that I wanted beforehand so for the first 2 issues I'll probably be a complete ignorant

A reason the symbiote just being a costume for Peter is cooler than the alternative is that it gives him more contrast with Venom. Before, the other just wanted to follow its role model. But now that it's angry and alone, it wants more. It gives Eddie power that he can exploit

Love when Michelinie uses Eddie's ignorance for gags. Either he screws things up and tries to immediately make up for it or he does it on purpose in the most sassy way possible and it's funny asf
