After seeing some of the stuff Rob has been saying, I’m feeling at least a bit better about things. It seems like he might be starting to take things more seriously, but he also might be putting himself in an echo chamber by demoting the arguers against him.

I’m just hoping that Rob can maintain a new group of people that can talk to him about issues but also won’t end up pissing him off to the point where something like this happens again. I’ll be logging off Twitter for a while now though, this situation hasn’t been healthy for me.

I want to make it clear to everyone that in the wake of RobTop adding even more messaging features to the game, elder moderators have NEVER had the ability to take any action regarding things that took place in GD messages. I have no reason to believe this will change either.

Despite being close to many different elder mods over the years, I receive death threats in my GD messages daily, but they’ve all always told me “We can’t do anything about that”. It sucks so much. I’m so mad at RobTop

Woke up and I still feel horrible. I’ve never been this worried for the future of the game I love. Truly one of the worst decisions I’ve ever seen a solo indie developer do.

None of the moderators removed from their duties are given the option to reapply and give the community the help it needs. Rob is actively trying to kill his game and its community. This change of demoting people from rating advisors desperately needs to be reverted immediately.

I believe that many people won't truly understand the significance of this change. This can very easily mark the beginning of the end when it comes to solving issues in the community. Rob is choosing to silence ones that speak out and make the system even more secretive.

I ran an A/B thumbnail test that ended at a perfect 50/50% split despite both thumbnails being pretty different so YouTube decided to just delete the thumbnail entirely
