Minimum Viable vs Ideal Trades For each step, I’ve ranked them as either minimum or ideal. Minimum = Non-negotiable. You HAVE to see this to enter the trade. Ideal = negotiable. These improve the setup, but their absence doesn’t stop you taking the trade. Cheatsheet↓

I analysed 7,000+ traders and found one key difference between the ones who; - Make money in 6-12 months - Struggle for 3+ years It's not one magical strategy or indicator. It's HOW you learn from your own trading experience. Take two traders: __ Trader A He's been trading for 5 years. Sometimes he's been super focused, learning as much as possible. But sometimes he gets busy or just gives up for a while. He's watched 100s of hours of YouTube videos and tried every strategy he can find. He's made some money (especially during bull runs), but never consistently. After 5 years: what is he left with? • So much theory that it becomes noise • A list of things that don't work • A mindset that trading might not even be a viable way to make money __ Trader B He's only been trading for 1 year. However, he's stuck with one approach the whole time. And he's journaled everything. He's been trading for a lot less time, but let's look at what he's left with: • A nuanced trading approach built around ONE strategy • A list of rules that he knows makes him more money consistently • A mindset where the process is more important than the outcome of any one trade. __ Ask yourself: who is more likely to become profitable faster? Trader A with 5 years of experience? Or Trader B with 1 year of experience? The answer should be obvious (it's B). Despite trading for 4 years LESS, he's significantly further ahead. The ONE thing he did differently? He used his own data to consistently improve rather than relying on "studying". So if you're new: That's how to save yourself years. If you've already been trading for 3-5 years... don't worry. This is GOOD news... Once you swap to the right way of doing things, you'll be amazed at how quickly you can surpass years of doing the wrong thing.

Don't place order at obvious levels. You'll miss your entry or exit often. Instead: (1) Set your order slightly before the level. Accept a slightly worse entry in exchange for getting filled more often. This is my preferred approach. (2) Ladder your orders around the level This can work, but adding another variable makes your data less clean.

I recorded an 18 minute video busting trading's most common myths: 0:10 - People are hunting my stop losses 02:07 - Scalping the 1-minute chart is riskier than higher timeframes 04:14 - Traders are professional gamblers 05:42 - If a profitable strategy starts losing money, it's stopped working 07:36 - Small accounts need to take crazy risks to grow 10:00 - More trading knowledge makes you more money 12:15 - If everyone has access to the same strategy, it will stop working 13:43 - You need to be good at predicting where price is going to make money consistently 15:27 - Higher win rate = you're a better trader 17:00 - Don't enter after a large candle, you've missed the move
