GATE Space (Techstars 2023), a Vienna-based satellite propulsion company, has secured €6.3M in grants and equity funding through the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator. 🛰️ Founded by Moritz Novak, Clemens Weisgram, Alexander Sebo, and Taras Weinl, GATE Space builds chemical propulsion systems that allow satellites to maneuver once in orbit — adjusting position, avoiding debris, docking with other spacecraft, and safely deorbiting. The company's flagship product, the GATE Jetpack, is a plug-and-play propulsion unit designed for ESPA-class satellites weighing between 50 and 500 kilograms.
