Becoming become better educators with other adult learners might be just as rewarding as seeing students engaged in science work. They blew me away this semester with their learning, risk-taking, and #STEM initiatives!

When our young people are communicatng stressed behaviour, we must Regulate, Relate, Reason in that sequence. We must not go straight for the cortex. Pupils cannot reason when their emotions are not regulated. 🧠🌱

Trauma that a young person experiences outside of school can greatly impact their behaviour and experiences in school. Let's keep this in mind as we work with our young people who come into our educational establishments with full cups.🧠🌱 #ACES #stressbehaviour #trauma

"You don't know what you don't know." Yesterday at @FluxSpace_io was perfect example of this! I have no idea where to go from here. But I need to figure it out for my #kkidfamily but also for @DeSales teachers! TY @MrRyneAnthony. I'm still digesting what I learned! #kkidslearn

Trauma-informed Restorative Practices belong in schools because school is often the place where kids are being traumatized! It is as much about preventing trauma as it is about responding to it. Anyone telling you it is a fad is likely trauma-inducing through ignorance.

Love this-letting kids share interests, passions, talents. What others would they add? Entertainer? Social media expert? Motivational speaker? Oh, wait! A Barista. I definitely need a barista. I could see these turning into end of year awards. I’m so ready to do this again, lol!
got my classroom jobs posted for my 4th graders
