Family is the most important thing in the world. And that is true no matter how you define your family! For me, it all started in 1996 with this man who I awkwardly hugged and said wow, you're really tall, while dropping my chapstick at the same time. 💕 Since then, I've kept his life full of organized chaos (yes, that's a thing), pivots, and fun! We've grown up and grown a family and have been in business together! I've never questioned if it should be someone else at my side and I know he hasn't either. I'm thankful that he supports me every day. ♥️

NEW - The NDP is calling Lorne Doerksen's letter to BC's legal groups and the Insurance Bureau of Canada “leaked” and “secret.” The letter was an open letter shared among the province's roughly 14,000 lawyers. In 2017, Adrian Dix sent a similar letter to trial lawyers. #bcpoli

"Leaving a person suffering from severe psychosis and deadly addiction to suffer on a freezing sidewalk is not compassion. It's cruel." BC Conservative leader @LDoerkson calls out the BC NDP’s harm reduction model, promising to end government "negligence" and restore full-spectrum recovery care to B.C.

David Eby just called surgery wait times in BC “totally unacceptable.” Has he forgotten his government has been in charge for 9 years? BC deserves a serious government delivering the care you need when you need it. That requires strong leadership in these serious times.

Jewish British Columbians should never fear for their safety, in their neighbourhoods, at school or at worship. The @Conservative_BC will confront antisemitism, strengthen community security and stand with Jewish British Columbians. You deserve action.
I wrote to leaders of BC's Jewish community to share our plan to stand up to antisemitism. A BC Conservative government will adopt the IHRA definition, protect Jewish students on campus, strengthen Holocaust education, expand anti-hate security funding, and train police and prosecutors to properly identify and prosecute hate crimes. The Jewish community deserves moral clarity and decisive action.

Here’s David Eby TODAY: "Right now in the province, people can wait 10 weeks for surgeries, but they can also wait 50 weeks or more for some surgeries, and that is totally unacceptable.” B.C. NDP campaign event, Oct. 6, 2026. Who’s been running the province the last FOUR YEARS?

Social Disorder is THE number one issue in Kelowna Centre this election. Please know ~ The Conservative Party of BC will take the following action: 🔥End street disorder by deploying more police to the hardest-hit neighbourhoods. ♥️Improve access to mental health care by expanding psychiatric services, crisis response and residential treatment. 💜Introduce compassionate intervention so that people whose severe addiction, mental illness or brain injury are taken off the street and into care. 🧡Empower police to enforce the Mental Health Act and amend the Act so officers can connect people with mandatory treatment. 🔥Hire and deploy 250 more police officers by expanding the JIBC Police Academy. 🙏Add 500 RCMP officers and 150 civilian staff over five years to restore policing in rural and regional communities where crime is rampant. 💙Hire 50 new Crown prosecutors, work with Ottawa to fund 20 more trial judges, and add sheriff and court capacity so criminals no longer walk free because of delays. 🖤End the NDP's failed "safe supply" experiment and expand access to naloxone. 🙅‍♀️Stop illegal drug use in hospitals, shelters and publicly funded supportive housing, so residents and staff are protected. 💯Report public safety results openly, tracking repeat offending, bail compliance, court delays, treatment access and long-term recovery.

How did open drug use and street disorder become something we’re expected to live with? Nine years of the NDP. Enough. More police. Treatment. Accountability. Here’s how we start putting public safety first. conservativebc.ca/safe-stree…

I’ve heard it over and over again from people across Kelowna Centre - we need to feel safe in our own communities. Compassion and public safety can go hand in hand. We need treatment and real help for those struggling, while restoring accountability and ensuring our police and frontline workers have the resources they need. Safer streets have been a priority for me from day one - and there is still more work to do.
The NDP's approach has left people suffering on our sidewalks. Ours steps in with care, enforcement, and real resources on the front lines.

Just wrapped a full day of door knocking in Glenmore and the North End. 🔥 I'll say this, there's a lot of support out there. Kelowna wants to see people healed and the economy moving. Kelowna wants hospitals that are available when they need care. And Kelowna wants an affordable future, filled with opportunity.

It was an honour to speak at the Freedom’s Door fundraising dinner the other evening and to spend time with so many people committed to making a difference in our community. Freedom’s Door does incredibly important work, helping men struggling with addiction find stability, support and a path forward. Recovery takes more than words. It takes people willing to walk alongside someone, provide support and help them rebuild their lives. Thank you to the entire Freedom’s Door team, the volunteers, supporters and everyone who came out to support this important work. ❤️

British Columbians were promised a family doctor. They were promised more support in our classrooms. They were promised $1,000 a year in household relief. Families remember those promises. They also notice when they aren’t delivered. Now, in another election, we’re hearing more promises. The @Conservative_BC is offering a different direction - improving access to health care, putting learning first in our classrooms, making our communities safer, supporting seniors, growing our economy and keeping more money in your pockets. British Columbians deserve results - not another round of election promises.
David Eby will say anything to get elected. But British Columbians have seen this act before. Broken promise after broken promise. Election after election. BC can’t trust the NDP.

Great to be alongside our leader Lorne Doerkson in Summerland and Kelowna, and to meet our new Conservative candidates for Penticton, Vernon and Lake Country. From hearing directly from homeowners in Summerland to a room full of enthusiastic supporters in Kelowna, one thing was clear, support for Lorne and our Conservative Okanagan team is building. What stood out to me was the energy in the room and how many people wanted to speak with Lorne and our candidates. People care about where this province is heading, and they’re ready for change. I’m proud to stand with this team. We share a commitment to the Okanagan and the people who call it home, and we’re ready to get to work.

This is so well said. Meanwhile, Eby goes around Kelowna trashing this man and making more promises that he will break.
David Eby seems to think being a billionaire is something to be condemned. Maybe he should take a look at what Jimmy Pattison has actually done for British Columbia. • EXPO 86: Pattison worked virtually full-time for five years without compensation to help make Expo 86 a reality and putting Vancouver on the world stage • Health care: He donated $75 million to St. Paul’s Hospital, described by the B.C. government as a historic contribution to Canadian health-care philanthropy. (BC News) • Royal Columbian Hospital: He donated $30 million toward the redevelopment, with the new acute-care tower now bearing his name. • Surrey health care: He donated $5 million toward the Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre, helping fund equipment and attract physicians. -Vancouver General Hospital: donated $20 million to VGH -He made major contributions to Lions Gate Hospital in North Vancouver, Burnaby, Kelowna General and Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital. A 2024 grant record shows nearly $20 million in foundation grants in one year, much of it going to B.C. health care. - Children’s health: the Pattison Group, has contributed tens of millions of dollars to B.C. Children’s Hospital, including $15 million for its family immunization clinic. • Jobs and investment: The Pattison Group grew from a single Vancouver car dealership into a major Canadian business empire employing thousands of people. So when David Eby looks at Jimmy Pattison and sees only “a billionaire,” British Columbians should remember what Pattison has actually contributed. He built businesses. He created jobs. He invested in our communities. He helped put Vancouver on the world stage. And he has donated millions to help British Columbians receive health care. We should be debating how to create more success stories like Jimmy Pattison not denigrating people simply because they achieved extraordinary success. B.C. needs more builders, more investment and more ambition, not politicians who turn success into something to be ashamed of and using him for cheap political talking points

Here in Kelowna and the Okanagan, we know all too well what wildfire season can bring. We’ve seen the evacuations, the uncertainty and the devastating impact on families and communities. We need to do more before a fire becomes a disaster. The @Conservative_BC has put forward a plan focused on being better prepared - own our own firefighting aircraft, clear dangerous fuels, make better use of safe prescribed burns, get qualified resources where they’re needed faster, and improve early detection. We are letting more hectares burn than we could ever harvest. By responsibly harvesting more of our forests, we can reduce wildfire risk while generating the revenue needed to help fund better prevention and response. For me, it comes down to this: be prepared, act early and do everything we can to protect our communities.
