If I’m the MAC, I’m threatening a lawsuit in this situation. There are major financial implications.
If Western Michigan wins that game, it could directly give them momentum to go 12-0 and earn a CFP appearance payout. That’s the basis for damages. That threat could get the Big Ten to reverse the win.
The MAC can’t/shouldn’t wait to make that threat until they find out if they still go 11-1 and make it in or not. The B1G won’t retroactively reverse the result in December w/o present outcry. Then it would actually need to go to court, which is much less clear-cut.
Rumeal Robinson probably wasn’t fouled in the 1989 title game.
Ryan Leaf may have spiked the ball quick enough in the 1998 Rose Bowl.

I can think of 864 when they didn’t.
I’m generally not a “bench the QB” guy, but if you can’t make the basic throws to move the ball effortlessly between the 20s against a MAC opponent, you can’t stay out there. Especially when Tommy Carr is waiting in the wings.
Harbaugh says the greatest improvement for a football team happens between Week 1 and 2. Well, if it doesn’t happen for this team in a huge way, it could be a loooooooong season.
Love that Kirk Herbstreit just wore plain navy blue clothes to watch his son Chase in the Michigan Spring Game.
Blend in with the fans but the Ohio State alum wasn't about to get caught in TTUN gear. 😂
While you all argue Underwood versus Carr, I am just excited that Michigan will be utilizing the forward pass for the first time since the Harbaugh era.
Rod Moore says the new staff reminds him of a Jim Harbaugh’s tenure. Says the difference in the weight room is “night and day” and things are more strict than the past two seasons and more accountability going to class.
