A recent State affiliate of the Libertarian Party has jokingly suggested bodily harm to a politician in their State. The Libertarian Party of Delaware does not condone these statements. Murray Rothbard, a founder of the National Libertarian party, endorsed the non-aggression principle that is an ethical stance that bans the initiation of physical force, threats of violence, or coercion against any person or their legitimately owned property. Statements inciting violence against politicians are in line with the gulag and third world despots.

Yes we didn't learn the lessons of 9/11. The US is falling into Bin Laden's trap. He wanted to bankrupt the US now at 40 trillion national debt. One analysis has put the US war on terror cost at over 8 billion dollars. Not to mention the human costs of 900 thousand dead. For what? Despite 20 years in Afghanistan we still have the Taliban. Iraq's demolition has created a volatile government. An Islamic terrorist is the leader of Syria. This is not to mention displacement of people in these nations that have emigrated to the West sans Western values. Yes we have not learned the lessons to quote President Bush- "There's an old saying ...that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. This poster was quite fond of Dolly Parton. "Coat of Many Colors" shows her connection to her poor Appalachian upbringing. When she was growing up there were little to no programs her 12 member family. She however overcame. And despite her unfortunate fertility issues inspired so many children through private donations and her literary programs. It is not "charitable care" if it is done at gunpoint and mandated. Christiana Care the largest hospital system in the State operates 2% in the black. I'm not sure who us supposed to pay for the charitable care but it would be likely off set to commercial payers. news.delaware.gov/2026/05/12…

Went to a hearing on SB 300. An NRA attorney had data and the progressives had "passion." When Wilmington was named as "Murdertown, USA," the CDC found out who was at risk for gun violence. The point system they created for authorities caused decreased crime. This law does not address gun crime.

I would encourage anyone following us in Delaware to sign up for Delaware Legislative Notifications. Our representative are mostly creating laws restricting our freedoms on a regular basis. It was great meeting folks at Dover Days yesterday. We had a lot of great conversations with people of all backgrounds. Our stalwart secretary Tim started handing out the "Worlds Smallest" political quiz and we discovered quite a few libertarians who didn't know they were.

Thank you Delaware Libertarians for your attendance at our State convention yesterday. I wish we had a higher attendance but so grateful to see the living legend @carolmoore1776 who wrote The Davidian Massace and hear another living legend @JimBovard speak on civil asset forfeiture. Also great to see a returning member from the late 90s and new member from Sussex. We are still here fighting for liberty in Delaware! We have a booth at the Dover Days festival next Saturday. Hope to see you there!
