On the International Day of Non-Violence, we'd like to remind that it's been a while since russia had one. It is through violence and #russianWarCrimes that they try to achieve their imperialistic goals. russia should be stopped and held accountable for its actions.

Once again, Europe woke up to reckless and dangerous Russian behaviour. A Russian warship fired emergency flares dangerously close to a Danish helicopter. A drone entered Lithuanian airspace before being destroyed by NATO fighter jets. These are not isolated incidents. They are part of a broader pattern of Russian aggression and provocation against Europe, testing our readiness and our resolve. Russia will find our resolve only growing stronger. We are reinforcing our collective deterrence and defence, together with NATO. And we are stepping up the pressure on Russia.

OTD in 1951, Juozas Lukša-Daumantas, one of the high-ranking 🇱🇹 #FreedomFighters, was betrayed by a double agent and shot in the forest. Known for his leadership and bravery, Daumantas remains an iconic symbol of Lithuania’s resistance against the Soviet occupation.

Intimidation won't work. "It is obvious Russia does not see the political cost ⁠of its activities against us. [...] Our goal is to show that these [hybrid] activities will neither intimidate us nor prevent ⁠us from supporting Ukraine and maintaining our pressure on Russia".
