A little over seven months ago, my daughter and I launched Minx Magic, a small family-run nail polish brand built on creativity, connection, and a love of beautiful color.
Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into creating high-quality 10-free nail polish and building a welcoming community. With the support of amazing customers and talented swatchers, we’ve grown.
This week, our business was anonymously targeted because of my personal political views.
My initial reaction was to apologize. Not because I believe I did anything wrong, but because I never wanted anyone to feel hurt or unwelcome. After taking time to reflect, I’ve realized there is no reason to apologize for having personal beliefs.
People are allowed to think differently. Reasonable people can disagree. Nail polish should not be a partisan issue.
Minx Magic has always been about creativity, self-expression, and bringing a little joy into people’s lives. That hasn’t changed.
If you believe small businesses should be judged by the products they create, the way they treat their customers, and the integrity with which they operate, I would be grateful for your support.
Thank you to everyone who has stood by us. We aren’t going anywhere. ❤️
