This week, my software kààt started shipping for its first round of demos.
Six weeks ago, it was an idea I had at the end of a water fast.
Since then, communications leaders have been asking to see it.
What I'm nervous about: that I miss something obvious to them and invisible to me. (But I'm sure I will anyway, so it is what it is 😂 )
What I'm hoping for: community & kinship, brutally honest feedback, and for them to feel like some relief is coming their way...
I'll share what happens here, the good and the uncomfortable.
Know a communications leader who needs this? Tag them in the comments.

Before that, here's what it does: it's one intelligent dashboard suite where communications leaders monitor every function, analyse their data, make faster and better-informed... 1/3
...decisions, and report smoothly to leadership. It's pretty straightforward, if you ask me.
Visit getkaat.com for more infor, then come back here to tell me if it's clear enough 😅, would you? If you lead a communications team, you'll get it in under a minute. 2/3
Your communications department runs on tools built for someone else.
Project management tools, artificial intelligence app builders, spreadsheets, in-house builds, strategic communications platforms: I compared the five options teams rely on today,...
...putting myself in the shoes of the person leading the whole function.
The pattern is fairly clear: each one solves parts of the job. None gives you one view of everything, at a glance.

Building something new is you, alone, sitting in the pit of your own delusion 😅
Because do I even trust myself to deliver? (Of course I do. But still...)
I'm in the thick of debugging, correcting, asking myself why this feature made sense again, and why ...

.@Revolut Are yall well?!
We need to SEARCH online AFTER being utterly confused and embarrassed as to why none of our cards are working, to find out you guys are down on Twitter?????
You couldn’t text, email, send a notification through the app???
Nonsense.
I've often been lured by the appeal of instant gratification, and I've quietly resented the idea of having to work so hard, for so long. Well, the joke was on me: it's precisely because of my 17+ years of experience that this process feels surprisingly smooth and easy. 2/5
There's something truly serendipitous about building a tool that sums up all your experience and serves your peers in the most intuitive way.
That's the edge I'm betting on with kààt. 4/5
Artificial intelligence has made software cheap to build.
But understanding a communications director's Monday morning still takes years in the seat.
Anyone can ship a dashboard in a weekend now, which is great (well, kinda...)!
Funnily enough, I've always loved a shortcut. 1/5
