The turnaround of Mississippi State Football and what Jeff Lebby has done in only his 3rd season with this program is incredible.
Lebby came in with a shell of a program, worked with what he had, and started out 2-10, going winless in conference play.
The next season he went out and got players who he knew would fit what he wanted, and there were flashes, and he got MSU back to a bowl game with a 5-7 regular season record.
This season, he retained talent, brought in incredible coaches, went out and got his guys, and now is 3-0, ranked, and hosting a sold out crowd.
Not even 3 whole seasons. From bare bones crowds and blowouts every Saturday, to hosting a ranked matchup in prime time, with a Heisman candidate at quarterback, and a sold out Davis Wade Stadium.
Jeff Lebby truly brought Showtime To State, it’s not corny, it’s a reality.
