It’s been a strange and sad 24 hours or so, but Eddie Kingston revealing that he used to call PAC “Andy Carroll” really tickled me.

Fantastic. Watch it.

Neville/PAC had more in-ring talent than most of us could ever dream of. It was a gift to see a card that had your name next to his. A guarantee of a good night. Ben was as popular a guy in the locker room as I’ve ever known. As humble as they come and loved by all of us. A terrible loss. Thank you for the good times mate.

Seeing videos like this as a young kid and hearing the legend of the Backyarder from Newcastle that could do any trick and seeing him take that to 1PW, Dragon Gate & all over the world. I was chasing you from the backyard to AEW Thank you for laying down the structure for us brits to be able to walk on & dream to achieve the things you did.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac. Ben was a much-loved friend, colleague and inspiration to many members of our crew and roster, with several having grown up wrestling alongside him in the North East of England. 1/2

What an awful loss. I ran into Ben at a restaurant near Nashville Airport a few weeks ago. I am so grateful that happened now. It was so good to see him. We were reminiscing about the first time we connected on MSN messenger(!) over 20 years ago, and what a ride it had been since then. He wished me luck for my match at Summerslam, and I told him he was still the best. We both had silly grins on our face from being genuinely surprised and happy to have bumped into each other. That will be how I remember him; just the nicest, most humble man despite being objectively the most talented in ring performer of our generation, perhaps ever. I spent last night talking to people who knew Ben and loved him. There are many. My prayers and condolences to his family and loved ones. He was the best of us. God Speed PAC. 🖤

I’m on a plane going home from Mexico and on it with Pac. 1 of my favorite people in the Wrestling. IMO the best Wrestler to come out of England since the 80’s and they were Rollerball Rocco, Marty Jones and Fit Finlay. That’s no knock on the incredible UK talent around today but I come from a time and style where being credible was part of the job. Pac is the only wrestler that when I see him wrestle I think he can beat me up and his wrestling is so much more aggressive and credible. Again, there’s brilliant UK wrestlers who I rate highly and am huge fans of but not as much as him. That’s just me and my opinion. Neville v Aleister Black from the UK tournament in Blackpool is one of my favourite bouts I saw live in the last 20 years. Last nights Roman v Penta rates up there with it. No need to argue as I don’t read comments.

The greatest export from our country. Also the greatest human being. Honoured to have shared the ring with you so many times. You truly are such a hero to myself and many others. Forever our BASTARD 💚 RIP Pac
