Speaker #5 Hazem Khaled Albarahma @Hazem_Gaza_RN Hazem Khaled Albarahma, 41, is a married father of four children, Khaled, 17, Mohammed, 15, Habiba, 9, and Hala, 5. He works as a hemodialysis nurse in a hospital in Gaza, caring for kidney failure patients, while his own family is currently displaced and living in a rented tent in Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis. They have been displaced twice, and their home in Rafah is no longer accessible. The tent has become badly worn and needs repairs before the winter, with land rent costing around $140 a month and a single sheet of tarpaulin costing about $65. Hazem's income is no longer enough to cover the family's basic needs, including around $150 a month for his children's tutoring and school supplies. Getting to work has also become difficult since transportation for healthcare workers stopped operating because of the fuel shortage, leaving him to walk long distances or pay for public transportation, which costs at least another $50 a month. The WFP has also stopped operating in their area, so the family no longer receives food packages and has to buy everything they eat. Hazem continues working at the hospital and doing what he can to support his wife and four children, but they need help with food, water, transportation, education, and repairs to their tent. ko-fi.com/hazemgaza

Speaker #4 Yahya Fadel Mohammed @yhaya2002 Yahya Fadel Mohammed, 24, is a university student, father of two young children, Fadel and Yasmina, both under 3 years old. Originally from northern Gaza, Yahya and his family of four have been displaced more than 11 times and now live in an old tent on rented land that costs around $135 a month. His 3-year-old son Fadel has suffered severe damage to his auditory nerves from the intense bombing and has lost around 80% of his hearing; doctors say he needs a cochlear implant as soon as possible to prevent further hearing loss and give him a chance to develop speech. The surgery is estimated to cost $1,000, while other hearing treatments and devices may cost between $3,500 and $4,000 and are only available through private clinics. Yahya previously worked as a barber, but lost his job when the genocide began and now tries to support his family by cutting hair with limited tools and no electricity. He also wants to finish his ICT degree but needs a laptop and university fees, which cost around $1,000 for a year. In their current area, there is no soup kitchen or regular drinking-water distribution, so the family must buy food and water or walk long distances to collect drinking water, while the available water is often salty. Yahya is seeking help with Fadel’s treatment, their rent and basic needs, and the costs of continuing his education. chuffed.org/project/please-h…

Speaker #3 Essa Al-Masry @EssaMasri1993 Essa Al-Masry, 32, is a married father of four currently living with his wife and children in a UNRWA shelter after being displaced six times during the genocide. Before the siege, he worked as a construction worker, but with construction projects halted, he now relies on occasional temporary jobs and has no stable income. The family of six is facing difficult living conditions in the shelter, including polluted surroundings, insects, and unsafe water, which have caused frequent rashes and bug bites among the children. Essa's youngest daughter was injured by shrapnel and underwent spinal surgery; although her condition has improved, she continues to experience pain. His campaign aims to help provide basic necessities such as food, clean water, clothing, and safer housing, while allowing him to support his family through ongoing hardship. chuffed.org/project/177116-i…

If the suffering of the Palestinians didn’t start on October 7th like you mentioned, why would you condemn October 7th when they decided to fight back? Are Palestinians only allowed to fight back when they lose? The position of the professional managerial class left on October 7th is completely incoherent
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss. The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes. Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment. To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.

Speaker #2 Hassan Al-Othmaneh @cosmos724553737 Hassan Al-Othmaneh, 37, is a father of six children aged between 16 years and 14 months. His family of eight has been living in a shared classroom at an UNRWA school after being displaced more than 30 times. Their home was completely destroyed and is now located behind the yellow line, making it inaccessible. Before the genocide, Hassan worked in construction, but no one in the family is currently employed. The family has access to a soup kitchen only once a month, and drinking water is distributed every two days. Hassan has work-related injuries that worsened during the siege, and his medication costs around $130 each month. His youngest child needs diapers and infant formula, costing about $45 per week, while school fees and supplies for the children total approximately $230 per month. His 16-year-old daughter, Eman, has taken on additional responsibilities to help care for the family as they work to meet basic needs, including food, clean water, medicine, and education. chuffed.org/project/180584-e…

Look at the Zionist reaction to this pathetic comment by Zohran spreading Israeli lies about October 7th They STILL hate it So we can all agree Zohran Mamdani licking Zionist boots and repeating their talking points is NOT designed to appease the Zionists So ask yourself, what is it for? It’s for keeping the pro Palestinian movement in check and countering the truth about October 7th using his mega phone to repeat Zionist narratives
