ALT 9 days ago, the Green Party put out an unprecedented ‘statement’ regarding my suspension, violating their standard policy of never commenting on disciplinaries. This policy was also ignored when the party leaked my suspension to the Telegraph and Daily Mail. I can now reveal that this ‘statement’ did not follow the standard review process. It was published by party staff without the consent of the wider press team. I have tried to engage with the party to de-escalate this situation, such as working together on a joint statement to mend fences. Their response has been to insist that my suspension cannot even be reviewed until December. I therefore publicly request the following: Reinstate me investigation into my suspension. ALT I have attempted to plead my case to GPC, but one of the GPC Co-Chairs has blocked my colleagues from reviewing the suspension, and has told me that he will block any attempt to review it before December. I therefore have been left with no alternative but to ask Green members to email their regional reps on Green Party Council and urge them to demand an immediate review of my suspension. Members of GPC are not to blame – the evidence suggests that, in my opinion, they were misled by a staff member. It seems my colleagues were given the impression that I refused to provide any response. I was actually blocked from doing so. This staff member has, in the opinion of both myself and others who have read the evidence, behaved in a cruel, transmisogynistic manner towards me. That's why my original statement made the claims it did. GPC are as much victims of staff misconduct as I.
