No it’s not, it was shut down by the Biden administration. He also shut down drilling in federal land. We don’t get any oil from the Middle East. The US oil is sold on a global market. So when there’s a bad fart in the in the world. Speculators raise the cost of oil. Think about this though. Haven’t you noticed that the oils companies raised our prices so fast but when it comes to lowering them it takes forever. Think about it please.

Oh dear gawd. How do I address everything you got wrong so you’ll understand. The keystone XL never opened. The keystone has been operating since 2014. Drilling was never shut down on federal lands, but future permits were cancelled. Most of them had 4 year leases anyway and 75% of drilling is done on private land. We get 500k barrels of oil from the Middle East daily. Speculators don’t unilaterally set the price of oil, the price depends on supply and demand. Your gas price is a direct result of supply shortages caused by the Hormuz strait being closed, the bombing of the E/W pipeline, tariffs, and the Russia/Ukraine war. Gas prices will go down if the US ends the war in Iran.
