🇬🇪 It would be wonderful to see Georgia chair the OSCE in 2027. Georgia has officially put forward its candidacy, and I believe this is an opportunity worth supporting. I would be especially proud to see my country 🇬🇪 take on this honorable and important responsibility. 🥰 Why do I believe Georgia could be an acceptable choice for OSCE participating States? Our country has experience of peaceful coexistence among different cultures and peoples, as well as the difficult experience of conflict, war and occupation. We understand how important security, dialogue and peaceful resolution of differences are. At the same time, Georgia has gone through significant economic and institutional transformation and continues to develop. Perhaps this combination of a challenging history and a strong commitment to development could allow Georgia to make a constructive contribution to dialogue between countries with different interests and positions. For me, a Georgian OSCE chairmanship would be more than a matter of national pride. It would be an opportunity to show that a small country with a complex history can contribute to dialogue, security and cooperation. I hope the OSCE participating States will support Georgia’s candidacy. 🇬🇪🤝🌍 #Georgia #OSCE #Georgia2027 #Peace #Dialogue #Cooperation
