I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t see this Shiek design as especially feminine. He reminds me of more of characters like Griffith or Alucard than any female character. Broad shoulders, beefy build, angelic and angular face. It still reads pretty androgynous imo.

“More feminine” doesn’t mean “less androgynous.” That’s the point. The original looked much more conventionally male, while this one combines feminine-coded long hair with a very masculine, muscular build. The contrast actually makes Sheik’s androgyny more apparent.
