Thank you,
@BarbaraMBoyd, for bringing the world’s attention to
@EdMartinDOJ’s sage analysis of the dire DOJ THREAT every American faces today.
Ed’s article, “They Will Kill You” (linked below) inspired a direct correlation between what our Founders actually faced in 1776 with our 2026 corruption.
The final sentence of the Declaration was not ornamental rhetoric:
“we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”
Immediately before those words, the delegates declared themselves absolved of allegiance to the British Crown and asserted that the colonies were independent states. The National Archives describes signing the Declaration as an act of treason against the British Crown.
So let’s consider Martin’s sequence conceptually:
Political identification → investigation → prosecution → economic destruction → imprisonment → reputational destruction → social exclusion.
Now compare what a signer in 1776 could reasonably contemplate:
Political identification → accusation of treason → confiscation or destruction of property → loss of livelihood/status → imprisonment → military retaliation → potentially death.
The principles our Founders were confronting are remarkably recognizable today:
What happens when political power becomes capable of punishing a person not merely for an unlawful act, but for standing against the “authority” exercising that power?
The Founders didn’t pledge only their lives.
They specifically separated the three things:
LIVES — FORTUNES — SACRED HONOR
That maps surprisingly well onto the categories Ed is identifying.
Lives = physical liberty and ultimately survival.
Fortunes = property, businesses, livelihood and financial security.
Sacred Honor = name, reputation, standing among one’s fellow citizens and posterity.
In other words, they understood that coercion does not have to begin with execution.
A government can attack a dissenter’s freedom.
It can attack his property.
It can attack his name.
And ultimately it can attack his life.
Our Founder’s extraordinary answer was essentially: We understand the possible price, and we sign anyway.
Our Declaration actually frames the contrast precisely.
It invokes the “Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God,” appeals to the “Supreme Judge of the world,” and closes with “a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence.”
Their argument therefore wasn’t merely:
God versus government.
It was closer to:
There exists a source of human rights and legitimate authority higher than government itself.
Therefore government doesn’t give man his fundamental rights.
Government exists to secure rights already possessed.
And when governmental power becomes destructive of those ends, the Declaration asserts that political legitimacy ultimately rests upon the people and their consent.
That’s what gives the closing pledge its enormous weight.
They weren’t promising everything because they expected safety.
They were promising everything because they believed some principles were worth defending even when safety could not be guaranteed.
We must again, stand together, or we will surely fall individually.
Thank you, Susan, and the entire
@PrometheanActn Team.
I stand with you and Ed.

Read every word of Ed Martin's talk here, they will kill you. That is true. Just think about Charlie Kirk. Or, they'll come up with a scam crime to put you away and hope you die in prison. Or, they'll come up with explanations for a political murder that distract you from the need to fight, e.g. Candace et al. That's what happened to Lyndon LaRouche and so many others. Only when you understand the depth of their depravity will you capture the necessary will to fight in this war. It requires courage and intellect, the kind that President Trump has shown. It requires a dedication to future generations, to the children. Their goal is to frighten you into passivity. It's the reason why President Trump stood up and said, fight, fight, fight.
